A fantastic new campaign aims to raise consumer awareness of the Emirates airlines twice daily service from Birmingham international airport, in the UK, to various exotic destinations has been widely praised by airport users.
Emirates airlines offer twice daily services from Birmingham airport to destinations in Africa, Australia, China, the Far East and Dubai. The aim of the campaign is to make people aware of these services in an eye-catching and appealing way. The multi-format campaign, created by Chemistry Communications, does just that.
They have created a network of 18 backlit units along with a multitude of posters that are distributed throughout both the interior and exterior of both airport terminals. Also, the two Birmingham AirRail link trains have been decorated, inside and out, with designs related to each destination.
For the first six months of the campaign one of the passenger monorail trains will have a fantastic Chinese ceremonial dragon onboard. The second train is displaying a collection of animals that might be encountered on an African safari such as Lions, Zebra and Giraffes. After six months the images will be changed to promote Australia and the Far East.

This campaign is initially expected to run for a year, but it may be extended. A key success metric will be increased sales of tickets to the exotic destinations that are being promoted.
